The ASM is an analytical model that helps users determine the specific requirement for the myriad spare parts of a system. The model does this by balancing each part’s cost with its explicit contribution to overall performance and can optimize simultaneously on several operation activity levels during a scenario.

Health Finance Management: The CCIIO Implements procedures for the certification, recertification, and decertification of qualified health plans, consistent with requirements issued by CMS and with the authority delegated to the agency by the Secretary of HHS. Develop, operate and maintain a “Plan Management Help Desk” to respond to Qualified Health Plan (QHP) Issuer inquiries, questions, and comments. An LMI tool, the “Analyzer”gives CCIIO the review results and ad hoc analysis capabilities required for analysis.

Systems Development: USPS Safety Toolkit (STK) and the USPS Safety Resources operate a help desk for STK users, and improve the management of the USPS national safety program.
