Subgroups: GE – CAE: This subgroup is responsible for Meshing, Model Setup, Connections, Simulating the CRASH, NVH (Noise & Vibration Harness), S&D (Strength & Durability) testing and Analysis of results of CRASH, NVH and S&D performance in CAE1. This subgroup also performs Model Building for Power Train and Vehicle Vertical of RENAULT Business in CAE2. These include Pre-processing and Post Processing Activities such as Geometric cleaning, meshing, Structural Analysis.

GE – Ele: This subgroup is involved in Hareness Design and Development activities for Renault Global Vehicle across different Renault Site – France, Romania, Turkey & Korea as per Renault harness standards and delivery requirements in Electrical – 1. Electrical2 MMRE team is involved in Multimedia development support and validation activities for different types of Multimedia systems to Renault.

GE – ES: This subgroup is responsible for Coding, Validation & Model Based Design Activities for Power Train and Vehicle Engineering Divisions of Renault / Nissan Business. For Powertrain Division the activities are Software Coding, Verification, and Software in loop Validation, Hardware in Loop Validation & Model Based Design Activities. For Vehicle Engineering the activities are Modelling, Model in loop Validations, Software Coding & Verification, Transversal activities on tools & scripts.

GE – VAP & Exteriors: This subgroup is responsible for Vehicle Architecture & Exterior works. Architecture department is responsible for different parts of the powertrain namely engine, gearbox and their sub components. This includes chassis as well as remote engineering. Exterior department handles the exterior plastic parts including lamp design and development activities for both Local and Global projects. Métier team works for local projects from design to development activities.

GE – GAS1: GAS1 is responsible for Design and Development of Diagnostic Methods & After Sales Wiring Diagram, with which service person is able to diagnose all electrical and electronic functions of the Renault Group vehicles.
