| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: all US locations use the same org standard process)
Customer: This factor was chosen to determine subgroups. AFS and Accenture State, Provincial & Local and Public Health Agencies have some separate processes used by the projects and the employees on the projects.
Size (Not Relevant: Ruled out because small projects under $1 Million dollars are out of scope for the appraisal even though they may use a different estimating tool. Larger projects may have a PMO and Diamond Clients have slightly different reporting requirements to senior leadership. This was not enough of a differentiator to create a separate subgroup.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Similar to customer but there are no separate delivery processes based on organizational structure. AFS, Accenture US State, Provincial & Local and Public Health CSGs – ruled out since there were only two public health projects at the time of selection and they are actually state agencies so they should be combined with the State, Provincial & Local and Public Health CSG into one category.)
Type of Work: Projects use different methodologies and management processes based on the type of work. Most projects can fall under two high level types of work: Consulting and Outsourcing. |
