| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: There is only one location.)
Customer: The clients of the OU are classified as internal and external. However, all requirements, internal and external, are received by the help desk department which makes an initial analysis and then turn them to the OU. Internal requirements are also received by the help desk department, having the same treatment. As suggested in the Quality Tip, at least one sampling factor has been selected: Customer, and the entire organizational unit is the sample.
Size (Not Relevant: Projects in the organization are very small, the average duration is 1 month and they are staffed by one or two developers.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The organization has only one software development area)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Work is classified as Roadmap and Request for Improvement. A Request for improvement is a requirement from an external customer; a Roadmap is a requirement from an internal customer. Both type of requirements are received by the help desk department, having the same treatment, and then turned to the OU.) |
