| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: All projects are managed from the same location, Getafe site in Madrid (Spain).)
Customer (Not Relevant: All software development projects for onboard software departments are developed from their offices so they are able to use their methodology. Sometimes the client ask to use theirs, but in this cases the Process Improvement Group team allows that only when it covers all the main points and if not the projects need to do a delta to cover with their methodology. That’s why we did not consider customer as a relevant sampling factor.)
Size (Not Relevant: Size is not a relevant factor, so all projects are managed the same way independently of the size.)
Organizational Structure: Organizational structure defines the type of projects in the onboard software departments, so is the main relevant factor.
Type of Work (Not Relevant: There is only one type of work, onboard software development for different systems and aircrafts.) |
