Location (Not Relevant: Altran has 3 centers, all in India, included in scope of this appraisal. The objective however has always been, to integrate them into a global delivery model and have a single minimal process-set (PAL/QMS) for all locations. Hence not a relevant sampling factor.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Processes are not specifically crafted or developed for specific Customers or based on Customers. A Single PAL is used as the minimum specification for all projects to follow. Hence not relevant.)
Size (Not Relevant: Not relevant. Project staff size is not a driver for process variances or any major differences. Hence not relevant.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Not Relevant: OU or Org. does not have any further intricacies of complex organization structure or further separation which drives process differences. Hence not relevant.)
Type of Work: There are two domains/types of work included in the scope of appraisal – MECHA and ISY. Processes are based on the type of these two domains, to a good extent. PAL/QMS supports two distinct sets based on the type of overall work. Hence relevant. |
