Location (Not Relevant: Locations are primarily Anhui and neigboring provinces, China and the same set of standard processes are being used across all locations)
Customer (Not Relevant: The firm”s projects are for the development of smart card and RFID technology applications. Project activities are no different for different customers)
Size (Not Relevant: All projects follow the firm”s standard process with minor tailoring. Basic units size range from 6-15 persons. Therefore standard processes employed do not differ based on this size range.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: All the projects have the same basic and similar structure with project manager / project lead, team-members etc. Additionally they all share the same OSSP (processes) implementation with no substantial tailoring. Consequently organizational structure does not cause significant variations in the performance of processes.)
Type of Work: The firm”s projects are New development project and Function Enhanced Maintenance Projects. They primarily have different requirement process. The new development project is more of a spiral requirement. Function enhanced maintenance project more often use the waterfall model. |
