Location (Not Relevant: No; because there is only one location i.e. Beijing and processes followed would be according to the Process Asset Library (PAL) irrespective of location)
Customer (Not Relevant: No: The processes followed would be the same as defined in PAL, irrespective of the customer)
Size (Not Relevant: No. Even for projects with different sizes, the processes used are the same viz. the ones defined in the Organization Process Asset Library)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The organization is structured on the lines of the projects and the support groups, each of which follow a consistent way of doing their work in accordance to the organization processes.)
Type of Work: Although both projects are software development projects, one of the projects is a development of a bespoke ab initio software system while the other is a product enhancement type of work. Hence there may be differences in the nature of RD, TS and most importantly, Product Integration processes being followed |
