Location (Not Relevant: All management and development activities are conducted at one location in Beijing, China.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Although OU provides systems to several types of customers such as public and private, works for all customers are performed consistently using organizational standard processes.)
Size (Not Relevant: All works use the same process regardless of size and size does not alter the basic steps of the standard process and the life cycle model. Consequently size does not cause significant variations in the performance of processes.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: There is one organization structure with a common OSSP and quality system across all BUs in the organization regardless of the organizational structure.)
Type of Work: There are 2 types of development works such as “System Development”, “Solution Development”. Differences between these two types are application of engineering and project management processes. |

System Development (Type of Work): System development project for specific customer. All development projects form part of this subgroup and they follow the organizational standard set of processes.
Solution Development (Type of Work): Solution development work for which requirements are generated internally. The typical output of this type of project is enhanced and updated function. The tailored version of the organizational standard processes are used. |
