Customer: All type of projects has an internal customer only. In case there is an external customer, the internal customer deals with external customers. Processes for dealing with the external customer are outside of the OU. As suggested in the Quality Tip, at least one sampling factor has been selected: Customer, and the entire organizational unit is the sample.
Size (Not Relevant: The size and duration of all basic units in the OU is similar, due to they are planned to deliver some functionality in the same period of time.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: There is only one software development area.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: There are two types of projects in the Organizational Unit: On-going Development and Customized Software. Since Customized Software projects deal with an external customer, the OU receives requirements from an internal customer only. The OU does not deal with external customers.) |
