Since the same management drives the projects in two locations. Hence the factor was not considered to be relevant.) Customer (Not Relevant: Not Relevant: The process used is not dependent on customers. Same process library and tailoring guidelines are used for project execution based on type of work rather than customer. Hence this is not considered as a relevant factor.) Size (Not Relevant: Size does not have influence on the process followed since the activities are done using concept of work packages. Type of work drives the process execution rather than the overall size of the project. Hence size is not considered as a relevant factor.) Organizational Structure: Organization Structure has influence on the process followed. Type of Work: The process followed depends on the type of work – Electronics and Mechanical. Different life-cycles and standards are used.
Sampling Factor Values:	NE1 (Organizational Structure): The Engineering Unit RBEI/NE1 focuses on supporting development in the field of Powertrain Electronics. The main customer is a Business Unit viz., DGS-EC (Diesel Gasoline Systems – Electronic Controls) which develops and manufactures power-train control units and offers services for diesel and gasoline engines as well as alternative power-trains. NE3 (Organizational Structure): The Engineering Unit RBEI/NE3 is responsible for Software Engineering services for Automotive Aftermarket (AA), Non-Automotive Business Units of Bosch viz., Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods and Building and Technology. Mechanical (Type of Work): Project tasks involving mechanical engineering drafting, creating mechanical designs and creating Manufacturing instructions. Services use software tools to create these outputs. Electronics (Type of Work): Tasks related to designing and developing electronics and hardware components.
