Size: In general, the software project bigger than 12 man-month are typical projects which following the standard process. While the projects less than 12 man-month are small projects, which can tailor the process with less and some informal artifacts.
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: All projects and functions are within the Department of Network & Application, in Beijing. No process is organizational specific.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Internal software development, which is currently classfied by size not by type of works.)
Sampling Factor Values: Type I (Size): Software development effort less than 12 MM, which can tailoring the process with less and some informal artifacts.
Type II (Size): Software development effort great than 12 MM, which following the standard process with minor tailoring if needed.
Subgroups: P-I: Type I projects, less efforts, light weighted processes, some informal artifacts.
