Location (Not Relevant: All application and solutions development work is conducted at Beijing, China. Thus, geographical location is not a differentiator for R&D Center at China Daas Technology Co., Ltd. and does not make any material difference to the way processes are applied by the OU.)
Customer (Not Relevant: All the customers for R&D Center (OU) are internal customers. Furthermore, all customer requirements are related to the Finance and Banking domain. Hence the customer type is not a differentiator with regards to process execution.)
Size (Not Relevant: The basic units (Projects) are of similar sized team members (5-7), thus size factor is not a differentiator. Hence, size does not influence the way processes are implemented in the OU – R&D Center.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: A single management structure governs the OU and there are no multiple structures or any such structural complexities that may result in variations in the way processes are executed by the OU. Thus, Organisational Structure is not a differentiator for the OU – R&D Center and does not make any material difference to the way processes are applied to execute work.)
Type of Work: R&D Center executes two types of project work that leads to differences in the application of processes. The two types of project work involve: a) Greenfield Development b) Enhancement. The type of work leads to some differences in processes, particularly affecting RD, REQM, PP, PMC, RSKM, MA, VER, PI and IPM process areas. |
