Several values can be distinguished: Government institutions, Industry and Services, Telecommunications, and Financial services. Although there are different needs according to the customer type, internally the customer requests are managed in the same way, so we can consider this factor has no influence in the way the activities are performed.)
Size (Not Relevant: basic unit size has no effect in the way the activities are performed for development and maintenance projects, scope of this appraisal.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: There is no effect on the behavior or practices used by the company. Projects are managed by following the same organizational structure.)
Type of Work: Under this factor we can distinguish two possible values: Development (new functionality is developed), and Maintenance (maintain existing functionality, “corrective”, “evolutive” and “preventive” maintenance).
Platforms/Technology: Used for developing the products within the projects. Several values can be distinguished: J2EE/.Net and Visual Basic/C
