Location (Not Relevant: Development activities are conducted at one location in Beijing, China.)
Customer: There are two types of customer categories such as external companies and internal stakeholder divisions (Golden Tax Division, Financial Payment Division, and IoT Division). Therefore, the organization uses different types of standard processes based on the types of customer categories.
Size (Not Relevant: Projects may additionally be classified as small, medium or large sized projects. However, at present all available projects are of the same size (medium) and so size is not used in this instance as a means of distinguishing between the projects.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: There is one organization structure with a common OSSP and quality system across all BUs in the organization regardless of the organizational structure.)
Type of Work: There are two types of project categories such as “System Development” and “R&D”. The major difference between these 2 types includes applying method of engineering processes. |

Internal stakeholder (Customer): This subgroup follows the organizational R&D development methodology which is a tailored version of the organizational standard software development methodology.
System Development (Type of Work): This subgroup comprises all system development or integration projects for specific external customer.
R&D (Type of Work): This subgroup comprises all prototype and initial development projects for enhancing or customizing initially developed solution. |
