Sampling Summary:
(抽样汇总)
Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: Most work is performed out of the Melbourne, Florida office. Location is not significant.)
Customer: The programs supported by this site do serve different customer bases. However, only two program/basic units fall into the scope for this appraisal – see below. The best way to characterize them is to say that one is a development project and the other is a software product (currently in Enhancement & Maintenance release mode). So, these two types, contracted development and product software, do result in process, planning, and execution differences.
Size (Not Relevant: Currently, the size of the programs/projects have no bearing on the type of work.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The organization is relatively small and there is only one business unit, so this is not a factor.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: The organization does engage in different types of contract work. However, non-software development work is out of scope for this DEV model appraisal.)
Sampling Factor Values: Contract Work (Customer): Work for a specific customer.
Product Management (Customer): Work on a commercial product.
Subgroups: Contracted Development: A contract to build a specific system for a specific customer.

– Contract Work
Product Releases: A commerically available product owned by the OU, that is being enhanced/maintained through regular releases to the field/marketplace.
