| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: Although there are five locations – Nanjing, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Changsha, Sanya, but project execution methodologies are the same define in organization level, and most projects have team members from different locations. So location is not a sampling factor.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Although different customers have different project targets, which have already been take into account during planning stage – schedule, cost and risk planning. There is no other process variation due to customers.)
Size (Not Relevant: Large projects will be divided into small teams and follow the same defined process, so size is not a sampling factor.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: There are six departments/centers involved in the appraisal. Processes are not customized based on organization structure, but customized based on product types. So organizational structure is not a sampling factor.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Only have development projects. Maintenance projects are not within the OU.)
Type of products: There are 4 types of products: Terminal, System, Software, Platform. Each product type have one set of customized processes and one PPB. So it is a sampling factor. |
