Size: This is a relevant sampling factor as large and small projects are considered in the organization for development, maintenance and enhancement and they consider various modes of tailoring.
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: This is not a relevant sampling factor as the organization structure does not play a vital role in sampling the projects.The organization resources are a pool of expertise which is dynamic based on Type of the project and size of the Project. Hence it is categorized based on Project Type and size of the project. No organizational structural business unit , Verticals or Horizontals or segmentation is done which could be considered for the selection of Organizational Structure as a sampling Unit.)
Type of Work: This is a relevant sampling factor as the projects are organized across development, enhancement & maintenance types of work. |
