Customer (Not Relevant: IT Services & Solutions is engaged in developing software applications for various commercial and Government organizations. OSSP is defined at organization level and projects follow the same with minor tailoring. Therefore ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is not considered for project selection.)
Size (Not Relevant: Project staff size varies based on scope and complexities of each Project. However, it has no impact of processes followed in projects. Hence “Size” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: IT Services & Solutions is considered as OU. There is no other dept. engaged in software development. There is no impact from organizational structure on project process differentiation)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: At present all development & Maintenance projects are going on. OSSP is applicable across all types of projects with minor tailoring and hence “Type of work” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Lifecycle: Iterative Incremental and Agile – Scrum Life Cycles are followed in all projects. OSSP processes are customized for each specific lifecycle methodologies and hence “Lifecycle” factor is considered for projects selection |
