| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: Not Relevant – All Basic Units work from the two US Delivery Center locations (Orlando, FL and Mechanicsburg, PA). The same development policies and processes are being followed, and support function activities are common to both sites. Therefore, this is not a determining factor with respect to process implementation and execution.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Not Relevant – All Basic Units perform work for Deloitte project teams and adhere to the Deloitte Enterprise Value Delivery Method and Standards. Since these teams are internal to Deloitte, this is not a determining factor with respect to process implementation and execution.)
Size (Not Relevant: Not Relevant – Project teams range in size from 10 to 100 FTEs. The work in the delivery centers is for long-established customers and the projects teams are comprised of very experienced personnel supported by a well-established Service Delivery Excellence support organization, with active involvement of senior leadership. Policies and processes are well understood and being followed with no significant differences (other than minor tailoring), regardless of project size.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Not Relevant – The Deloitte delivery center structure consolidates on-shore project management, design, development and testing. The same development processes and procedures are being followed, and tools are common across basic units. Therefore, this is not a determining factor with respect to process implementation and execution.)
Type of Work: This factor is not relevant because all work is primarily information systems that support the mission and operations of Federal, State, and Local government agencies, which are similar. The factor has been made relevant when, in reality, it isn’t because SAS requires the identification of at least one valid sampling factor, this one indicates that the entire organizational unit (OU) is the sample. |
