Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: The delivery of Services and co-ordination is through the centralized location at Mumbai, India. Hence, the location is not a differentiator for the OU – System Integration, IT Services and Solutions and does not make a material difference to the way processes are applied.)
Customer (Not Relevant: For the OU – System Integration, IT Services and Solutions, all the customers are external. Furthermore, the customer requirements are related to IT services involving system integration and managed services. Hence, the customer type does not lead to any differentiation in process implementation.)
Size: There are differences in the way processes are executed depending on whether the basic unit (Service Team) is Large, Medium or Small in size. The sizing construct is: 1) Large > 40 Resources 2) Medium: 11 – 40 Resources 3) Small: 10 or less Resources. The difference in size leads to some differences in processes, particularly affecting WP, WMC, SD, CAM, IRP, DAR and IWM process areas.

Type of Work: The OU – System Integration, IT Services and Solutions primarily executes IT System Integration and Managed IT Services that lead to differences in the application of processes. The type of work leads to some differences in processes, particularly affecting REQM, WP, WMC, RSKM, IRP, MA, SD, SST and IWM process areas.
Sampling Factor Values: Medium Size (Size): These are basic units that involve a team size between 11 and 40 resources.
Large Size (Size): These are basic units that involve a team size of more than 40 resources.
IT System Integration Services (Type of Work): These are basic units that involve the delivery of end-to-end IT services with focus on integration between IT servers, IT infrastructure components, IT processes, Databases and Systems. This, in turn, enables an integrated, seamless and efficient delivery of the IT services.
Managed IT Services (Type of Work): These are basic units that involve the day-to-day management of customer”s IT infrastructure, IT components, IT systems and IT operations in order to enable efficient service delivery, agility and scalability from an IT services perspective.
Subgroups: IT System Integration Services, Large Size: These are basic units that involve the delivery of end-to-end IT services with focus on integration between IT servers, IT infrastructure components, IT processes, Databases and Systems. This, in turn, enables an integrated, seamless and efficient delivery of the IT services. These basic units involve a team size of more than 40 resources.
