Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: The scope of appraisal is Ahmedabad location of e-Procurement. No other location is considered. e-Procurement QMS processes are established at organizational level for Ahmedabad Location, so “LOCATION” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Customer: Software Development Department executes projects for internal (e Procurement ) and external customers. The standard process defined at organization level is used.Internal Projects are for e Procurement Product Release . External Projects are for Customer specific product development, that have significantly different functionality than internal projects and differ in RD and VAL activities. Therefor “CUSTOMER” factor is considered for project selection.
Size (Not Relevant: The e-Procurement QMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different size of the projects. All projects are of typically similar staff size (5-6 staff). There is no variation in the work performed in these projects due to project team size and hence all projects are required to follow same processes irrespective of project team size. So “SIZE” factor is not considered for project selection.)
