Sampling Factors:	Location: There are 4 Locations of Hangzhou, Shanghai and Guangzhou and Zhengzhou are considered. Projects delivered in Zhengzhou are actually performed by the team in Hangzhou. Java technology is used in locations of Hangzhou and Shanghai, while .NET technology is used in Guangzhou location. Customer (Not Relevant: The OU delivers their solutions and products to one telecom operator) Size (Not Relevant: of projects are comparable and do not affect the development process) Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Projects are executed in the same organization structure, i.e. R&D Center, Technology Test Department and General Management Department.) Type of Work (Not Relevant: Only development work is considered.) Development Technology: Java projects and .NET projects. Hypothesis test was performed by evaluating process performance in terms of defect density and normalized project effort, against projects of two types of development technology. The results show that there are significant differences exist.
