Sampling Factors:	Location (Not Relevant: Guangzhou location is only considered for appraisal. Thus, location is not a differentiator and does not make any material difference to the way processes are applied.) Customer (Not Relevant: R&D Center executes project for various customers in tele-communication, power and other industries. Standard process is defined at organization level with minor tailoring is followed for each client. No significant change is observed in the process being followed by these basic units. Therefore ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is not considered for project selection.) Size (Not Relevant: All projects are of typically similar staff size (6-7 staff) in R&D. There is no variation in the work performed in these projects due to project team size and hence all projects are required to follow same processes irrespective of project team size.) Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: R&D Center is considered as OU. There is no other dept. engaged in software development. There is no impact from organizational structure on project process differentiation) Type of Work: At present Development and Maintenance projects are going on.
