Location (Not Relevant: Hangzhou location is only considered for appraisal. Thus, location is not a differentiator and does not make any material difference to the way processes are applied.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Technology Center is engaged in developing ERP products and applications for supply chain industries. OSSP is defined at organization level and projects follow the same with minor tailoring. Therefore ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is considered for project selection.)
Size (Not Relevant: As the size does not differentiate the work being performed. Set of standard processes being used do not differ based on size. Also, irrespective of size all the projects in the Organizational unit are required to follow & implement set of standard defined processes)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Technology Center is considered as OU. There is no other dept. engaged in software development. There is no impact from organizational structure on project process differentiation)
Type of Work: At present Development projects are going on. OSSP is defined at organization level and both Development and Maintenance projects follow the same with minor tailoring. Still Type of work factor is considered for sampling. |
