Customer: There are two types of customers for OU”s software projects: China Telecom and non Telecom. Different processes are used for Telecom projects and projects for other government agencies.
Size: Size is an important factor that will have an impact on how projects work. Two values are assigned for Size: Large, and Small.
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Since the process used is mainly based on customers served, thus the org structure has no impact.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: There are three types of typical work conducted in the org: development, service support, and system integration. The planned appraisal will only cover development projects.) |

Telecom (Customer): The value covers projects whose customers are Telecom.
Non Telecom (Customer): The value covers projects whose customers are non Telecom.
Large (Size): The value covers projects whose overall effort is larger than and equal to 50 man months.
Small (Size): The value covers development projects whose overall effort is less than 50 man months. |
