Sampling Factors:	Location (Not Relevant: All the application are developed at one location, i.e. in Yancheng) Customer (Not Relevant: Work is not performed differently based on the customer served by that work requested) Size (Not Relevant: Work is not performed differently based on the size of the basic unit or support function.) Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The Technology Department manages all projects in the OU and all the appraised projects have the same organisational structure. Thus, this sampling factor does not affect the projects in the OU.) Type of Work: The type of work involved includes two (2) types of software development; (1). Research & Development and; (2). Customer Product.
Sampling Factor Values:	Research & Development (Type of Work): This type of work involves the design and development of a new or improved business solutions Customer Product (Type of Work): This type of work involves implement of new features or make performance improvements on existing solutions based on Change Requests received from the customers
Subgroups:	Research & Development: This type of work involves systematic end-to-end process of the design and development of new or improved business solutions through the stages of Software Product Development Lifecycle; (i.e. Requirement gathering, Designing and Building the product, QA and Testing and Implementation ) to ensure that the implementation process is carried out smoothly and ends successfully. 18 People, 3 Basic Units – Research & Development Customer Product: This type of work involves offering new enhancements and feature changes to the existing software based on Change Request submitted by the customers. 26 People, 4 Basic Units – Customer Product
