Location (Not Relevant: OU performs its activities from Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad location however all locations follow one common integrated QMS and no process variation observed based on locations.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Primarily no major customer specific process variation was observed hence customer was not observed to be a critical factor)
Size (Not Relevant: There is no significant variation in sizing of the projects that result in different process performance. Hence size was not observed to be a critical factor.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Based on the organizational structure, there is no specific process tailoring done hence no significant process variation based on organizational structure.)
Type of Work: OU has primarily 3 different lifecycles involved i.e. Development SDLC, Development Migration and Testing projects. Hence this was considered for sampling factor. |

Development SDLC (Type of Work): Scope of these projects is development of new application or enhancing the existing application by developing new feature. These projects follow all phases in FLC – Requirement Analysis, Design, Coding & Testing
Development Migration (Type of Work): Data Migration is applicable in scenarios where information systems are newly implemented, replaced or converted. These projects follow all phases : Analysis, Design, Development, Testing
Testing (Type of Work): These are Full life cycle testing projects consisting both the phases, test case authoring (design) and test execution |
