Location (Not Relevant: The scope of appraisal is Kochi location. No other location is considered. Orion QMS processes are established at organizational level for Kochi Location, so “LOCATION” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Customer: Majority of the projects executed at Orion are for a specific key account hence process performance is expected to be homogeneous among projects executed for this key single account as compared to process performance executed for other projects i.e. Domestic projects. Both types of projects use Agile Life Cycle for development and follow same set of Orion QMS processes. But “CUSTOMER” factor is considered for project selection.
Size (Not Relevant: The Orion QMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different size of the projects. So “SIZE” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Organizational Structure is same for all the application development projects hence no significant process variation based on organizational structure. So ‘ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE’ factor is not considered for the project selection. Following functions / activities are carried out at organizational Level. 1. Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) 2. Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA) 3. Training 4. Requirement Control Team 5. Testing)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Application development projects which are considered for appraisal, executed using the Agile Life Cycle. Same sets of processes are followed for all development projects. So ‘TYPE OF WORK’ factor is not considered for project selection.) |
