Sampling Factors:	Location (Not Relevant: Chifeng location is only considered for appraisal. Thus, location is not a differentiator and does not make any material difference to the way processes are applied.) Customer (Not Relevant: R&D Department is engaged in developing software product and applications for only Government organizations. OSSP is defined at organization level and projects follow the same with minor tailoring. Therefore ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is considered for project selection.) Size (Not Relevant: Project staff size varies based on scope and complexities of each Project. However, it has no impact of processes followed in projects. As per Management policy, each project has to follow standard processes and hence “Size” factor is not considered for project selection.) Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: R&D Department is considered as OU. There is no other dept. engaged in software development. There is no impact from organizational structure on project process differentiation) Type of Work: At present either Development or Maintenance projects are going on. OSSP is defined at organization level and both Development and Maintenance projects follow the same with minor tailoring. However, “Type of work” factor is considered for project selection.
