Organizational Structure: COEs are depicted on an organization chart. Work is performed differently across different COE. Process areas affected are Work Management, Service Establishment and Delivery process areas.

Design COE (Organizational Structure): The design Centre of Excellence ensures services for all JCB products. It provides services related to modelling, detailing, conceptualizing, structuring, ePI process, Stack-up Analysis, Design Calculations, Technical Authoring, part compilations and master data management for all global SBUs and customers and suppliers.
Electrical & Electronics COE (Organizational Structure): The Electrical & Electronics Centre of Excellence ensures support to the Global SBU and client. It supports software and electrical design, development, MIL, SIL and HIL Testing, Bench development, Bench testing, Service Master Support, Diagnostics, Livelink development & support services across all JCB products.
Structures COE (Organizational Structure): The Structures Centre of Excellence ensures support services for all JCB projects. It supports FEA Analysis, PPT Report, T & D Report & Virtual Welding activities to JCB Global Business Units.
Product Design Services (Type of Work): Typical activities performed are like deliverable study, planning, structuring, ePI process, design calculation, stack up analysis, concept modelling, drafting review, data management, customer review.
Technical Publication Services (Type of Work): The Technical Publications supports creation and maintenance of technical literature for the various ranges of JCB products. The team primarily comprises a combination of engineers who are responsible as technical authors, parts compilers and technical illustrators. The authoring team and the parts team are managed by the line managers respectively.
Electrical Design Services (Type of Work): The work content involves design concepts for Electrical Component, Electrical Schematic Design, Wiring harness drafting, Cad Modeling, Cad Drafting ,ePI release ,TR documents, T& D document generation.
FEA Analysis Services (Type of Work): The FEA activities includes, receiving the project request from global JCB units through mails, requesting the input details to Client, Plan , execute the activity as per service type request to respective team members. The deliverables of FEA team are ANSYS file, PPT Report & T & D Report and it stores on specific folder structures. |
