| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: Beijing, China only)
Customer: BJGT’s customers are categorized into internal and external customers. The internal projects are initiated by the company itself without formal contract, while the external projects are initiated from customer contract.
Size: Projects are divided by large (project members >=8 people) and Small. For large project the project manager is required to take most of his/her time on controlling the project and risks.
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Even BJGT has several divisions, the OSSP and processes are implemented across all the divisions in scope.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: Jiuzhou provides spatial data and solutions to its clients. All of its software products are similar in work type, which are based on ArcGIS platform as a core, and Microsoft development platform for development and operations. So the type of work is not a differentiator for the OSSP to implement differently in the OU.) |
