Location: The Technical Center is located in cities of Xiamen, Zhangzhou, and Shenzhen. A common OSSP is established and implemented in the organization. Xiaman is the headquarter. As agreed with the sponsor, the OU boundary is defined as Xiamen for this specific appraisal. Location is chosen with the value of Xiamen and Others.
Customer (Not Relevant: Each project must follow the common OSSP, no matter the target customer is. The customers do not introduce any differences of process implementation. Therefore Customer is not a relevant sampling factor.)
Size (Not Relevant: All projects have similar size. It does not introduce any differences of process implementation. Therefore Size is not a relevant sampling factor.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: This OU includes Project Management Office, HR, Product Lines for different types of customers, Standardization Department, Development Test Department, Quality Management Department, and Xiamen Platform Department. They are required to follow the same OSSP and focus on different functions and process areas. So Organizational Structure is not a relevant sampling factor.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: This OU develops products, which integrates Mechanic Parts, Electronic Parts, and Software. The common OSSP is established and followed to develop, integrate, verify, and validate the products. So Type of Work is not a relevant sampling factor.) |
