Customer: KDA IDS delivers software both in the civilian as well as the military domain.

Organizational Structure: There are 3 main program groups within IDS, Air Defence, C4ISR and Naval. The last group was not part of IDS at the time of the previous appraisal. Organizational structure is considered a relevant sampling factor
Type of Work: The type of work performed is development and systems integration. Some projects are restricted to software, while others deal with both software and hardware development
