Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: R&D Department is at Suzhou location and only this location is considered in appraisal so, location is not a differentiator and does not make any material difference to the way processes are applied.) Customer (Not Relevant: OU is engaged in developing products for Government and Enterprises. Standard process is defined at organization level and is used all projects with minor tailoring. Hence ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is not considered for project selection.)
Size (Not Relevant: All projects are of typically similar staff. Also, as per company policy, all projects should follow all processes irrespective of project team size. Hence “Size” is not considered for project selection.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: R&D Department is considered OU and no other department or function engaged in software development so Org structure is not considered as Sampling Factor.)
