Location (Not Relevant: All the projects are in the same location.)
Customer: There are two types of customer: external and internal. For external projects, the requirements are from external costumers, and the product will be delivered to customers based on contracts; for internal projects, the requirements are from senior staffs of company or the sales marketing department, and the purpose of project is product R&D.
Size (Not Relevant: Projects are in similar sizes, and follow the same processes.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The R&D department is divided into 4 groups: development, testing, art, and after-sales service. The boundary of the 4 groups is not very clear. All groups managed by the head of software development department directly. Project manager are senior members; they may also work on requirement analysis or design. The new projects will be assigned to project managers and team members based on their specialties and experiences. All the projects are following the same processes.)
