Location (Not Relevant: All upgrade and new development activities are conducted at one location in Shenzhen, China. And all development and management processes are consistently applied regardless of location)
Customer (Not Relevant: There are only one types of customer categories such as nuclear power company. Therefore, the organization uses same type of standard processes regardless of customer)
Size (Not Relevant: Projects may additionally be classified as small, medium or large sized projects. However, at present all available projects are of the same size (medium) and so size is not used in this instance as a means of distinguishing between the projects. And size also does not alter the life cycle model or project process)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: All projects are conducted within the one department, have the same basic and similar structure with project manager, developers, supporting-members, and share the same organization standard processes without substantial tailoring. Consequently organizational structure does not cause significant variations in the performance of processes)
Type of Work: This is the key distinguishing factor among the projects. There are 2 types of works/projects that affect which processes are followed for all development works/projects |
