Sampling Summary:
(抽样汇总)
Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: OU performs its activities from Hyderabad, Noida and Bangalore locations and follows common integrated QMS, hence no process variation considered based on locations.)
Customer: There are few account specific process tailorings considered. Hence this was considered as a critical factor.
Size (Not Relevant: There is no significant variation in sizing of the projects that result in different process performance. Hence size was not observed to be a critical factor.)
Organizational Structure: OU has two units namely DNO and Engineering Operations Unit. Process performance variation is expected to be different across units. Hence this is considered as a critical factor.
Type of Work (Not Relevant: OU primarily has only waterfall lifecycle software development projects. Hence this was not considered for sampling factor.)
Sampling Factor Values: Customer Group 1 (Customer): Projects executed for a specific account in telecom domain using customer specific tools, network and templates. Hence process performance is expected to be homogeneous among projects executed for this specific account.
Customer Group 2 (Customer): All other projects which are not specific to any accounts or customer mentioned in other sampling factor values. These projects would use set of tools and processes as per organizational guidelines.
Customer Group 3 (Customer): Projects executed for a specific account in aerospace domain using customer specific tools, network and templates. Hence process performance is expected to be homogeneous among projects executed for this specific account.
Customer Group 4 (Customer): Projects executed for a specific account in aerospace aftermarket domain using customer specific tools, network and templates. Hence process performance is expected to be homogeneous among projects executed for this specific account.
Customer Group 5 (Customer): Projects executed for a specific account in avionics domain using customer specific tools, network and templates. Hence process performance is expected to be homogeneous among projects executed for this specific account.
DNO (Organizational Structure): Projects performed for DNO unit, are involved in GIS, communication and networks & Operations. They cater to the requirements of government and major private sector units.
Engineering Operations Unit (Organizational Structure): Projects performed for Engineering Unit mostly belong to the aerospace domain. They support the industry majors in the aerospace business.
Subgroups: G1: These includes projects executed for a specific account in DNO unit
55 People, 2 Basic Units
– Customer Group 1
– DNO
G2: These includes projects executed for accounts other than as mentioned in G1 for DNO unit
30 People, 3 Basic Units
– DNO
– Customer Group 2
G3: These includes projects executed for a specific account in Engineering Operations Unit
9 People, 2 Basic Units
– Customer Group 3
– Engineering Operations Unit
G4: These includes projects executed for a specific account in Engineering Operations Unit
9 People, 2 Basic Units
– Engineering Operations Unit
– Customer Group 4
G5: These includes projects executed for a specific account in Engineering Operations Unit
16 People, 1 Basic Units
– Customer Group 5
– Engineering Operations Unit
