Location: Locations are classified in two categories – Legacy and New locations – in relative terms. Organization”s intent is to ensure process implementation is consistent across locations and to understand this aspect, location is chosen as a sampling factor
Customer (Not Relevant: The organization provides services using defined services that are based on defined standards. Specific customers do not have an influence on the same. Hence, there are no intended variations in objectives or processes based on customer / customer categories.)
Size (Not Relevant: There are no intended variations in objectives or processes based on project size. In addition, projects typically are composed into teams of between 8 to 12 members and managed. To that extent, size of project is not relevant.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: There are no intended variations in objectives based on business units. While organization has practice teams, these teams are aligned to the type of work. To that extent the practice teams aspect of structure is subsumed in type of work sampling factor.)
Type of Work: There are two types of projects (services) that are covered in this appraisal. |
