| Sampling Factors: |
Location (Not Relevant: Location ( All work is performed from the same location))
Customer (Not Relevant: Customer (All works are performed in the same manner regardless of customer. All customers wished optimization are managed with the standard process (see Organizational Structure)))
Size (Not Relevant: Size ( Development work is performed in the same manner regardless the size))
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Organizational Structure (Two different Departments have the same standard process & approach to define the project’s defined process. The OU proposes the same organizational sub processes combination choices to the 2 departments for establishing any project’s standard process. A simulation with Crystal Ball allows to selecting the best combination of sub processes according to the wished optimization (workload, schedule, quality and customer wishes)))
Type of Work: Type of Work: ( Relevant: Customized Projects with a defined external customer versus product without external customers. The 2 types of work are both located in the 2 Departments. The lack of external customer for product development induces some processes tailoring for product development. Hypothesis testing of process performance parameters indicates therefore that there is no significant difference in PPM’s due to the type of work) |
