FEDCIV: Pragmatics provides information technology support, systems testing, and process management at the USPTO. Pragmatics tasks encompass developing new software, as well as performing operations and maintenance (O&M) activities. This effort emphasizes the new development work, performed using Agile Scrum sprint development processes and methods (the O&M work is conducted as a waterfall process).
