Location (Not Relevant: The scope of appraisal is Lagos location of PFS. No other location is considered. PFS QMS processes are established at organizational level for Lagos Location, so “LOCATION” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Organisation Unit executes development project for Nigerian Banks. In all the basic units, standard process defined at organisation level with minor tailoring is followed. No significant changes in processes based on individual customer requirement is observed. Therefore ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is not considered for project selection.)
Size (Not Relevant: The PFS QMS processes does not vary and differentiating for different size of the projects. All projects are of typically similar staff size (4 staff). There is no variation in the work performed in these projects due to project team size and hence all projects are required to follow same processes irrespective of project team size. So “SIZE” factor is not considered for project selection.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Organizational Structure is same for all the development projects hence no significant process variation based on organizational structure. So ‘ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE’ factor is not considered for the project selection. Following functions / activities are carried out at organizational Level. 1. SEPG 2. IQA 3. Training)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: System Development Department executes development projects using the Iterative Development Life Cycle. Same sets of processes are followed for execution of these projects. So ‘TYPE OF WORK’ factor is not considered for project selection.)
Life Cycle: All Projects follow Iterative Development Life Cycle. Though Life Cycle factor does not have any impact, ‘LIFE CYCLE’ factor is considered for project selection. |
