Customer (Not Relevant: The OU develops and deliveries same set of products to different customers using same set of processes.)
Size: Software projects (refer to “Type of Work”) of the OU are divided into 2 categories by time and cost, and most of the projects are B class projects. OSSP can be tailored because of project size.
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: The OU is a small development team with people distributed in projects.)
Type of Work: Generally, software development works organized and managed as projects. Also some urgent defect-fix or enhancement to existing software product. Maintenance will not be included because it follows a very simple process, thus is less meaningful for the process improvement. |
