Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: All projects are located in the Chengdu office, however the location does not affect the process context as all projects follow the same set of organizational processes.) Size: The size is measured by the number of full time project team members and is either Large greater than 10 FTE or Small equal to or less than 10 FTE
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Organizational Structure does not affect the process context as all projects follow the same organizational standard set of processes.)
Type of Work: Projects are developed for two key types of product, Server Security and Mobile Security.
Sampling Factor Values: Large (Size): The project team size is larger than 10 FTE Small (Size): The project team size is smaller or equal to 10 FTE
Server Security (Type of Work): All projects developed for Server Security systems and products
Mobile Security (Type of Work): All projects developed for Mobile Security products
Subgroups: Server Security/Large: Software projects developed in the R&D Center for Server Security that have more that 10 FTE
