Projects are developed for different customers using the same methods, because the organization supports the economic risk of the project, and so, the organization determines the way of working. Professional Services are a kind of works that are determined by customers, but these services are excluded.)
Size: Relevant: Work is performed differently based on the size of the projects or maintenance requests. Minor changes are managed as corrective or maintenance activities, while others are considered enhances and new projects. The threshold is established in 100 hours.

Large (Size): A set of product features is the base of enhancement and new development projects, developed by request of the customer. The estimated effort is more than 100 hours.
Software Project (Type of Work): Set of tasks and resources organized during a limited time in order to implement a software request.
Maintenance Service (Type of Work): Set of activities conducted to manage a continuous flow of deliveries to solve a set of requests.
