Location (Not Relevant: OU is located in a 2 locations(Hyderabad and Chennai). However, the company operates out of two locations to leverage local recruitment. Chennai facility is a geographical extension of Hyderabad business. The processes and business context is same. Thus, location is not a potential sampling factor.)
Customer (Not Relevant: Except for their geographical presence, on delivery front there is no difference between Domestic and International projects delivered from Offshore Development Centers. Team Structure, Escalation Mechanism, SDLC model, communication plans, internal tools usage are one and the same for projects from both the regions.)
Size (Not Relevant: Most of the projects are of medium sized teams and operate with customers for SW development under master contracts for fixed duration ( 1-5 years). Thus, size is not a potential sampling factor.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: OU has homogenous management layering spread across both locations with centralized management (single management structure). Thus, structure is not a potential sampling factor.)
Type of Work (Not Relevant: All basic units are application development projects using SAP and thus using the same QMS since last 10 years and 3 SCAMPI appraisals)
