Sampling Factors:

Location (Not Relevant: R&D Center is at Shanghai location and only this location is considered in appraisal so, location is not a differentiator and does not make any material difference to the way processes are applied.)

Customer: OU is engaged in developing products for Government and Enterprises. Standard process is defined at organization level and is used all projects. However certain processes are specific to certain type of client. hence ‘CUSTOMER’ factor is considered for project selection.

Size (Not Relevant: All projects are of typically similar staff. Also, as per company policy, all projects should follow all processes irrespective of project team size. Hence “Size” is not considered for project selection.)

Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: R&D Center is considered OU and no other department or function engaged in software development so Org structure is not considered as Sampling Factor.)

Type of Work (Not Relevant: At present Development & maintenance projects are going on. As per client, only development projects are considered in appraisal as maintenance projects mostly only bug fixing, so Type of work is not considered as sampling factor.)
