Location (Not Relevant: All management and development activities are conducted at R&D Division with the same organizational standard processes regardless of location.)
Customer (Not Relevant: OU provides system to only one type of customer (Korean defense and military organization) and all works are performed consistently using Korean Defense Standard Processes.)
Size (Not Relevant: All works use the same process regardless of size and size does not alter the basic steps of the standard process. Consequently size does not cause significant variations in the performance of processes.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: There is one organization structure with a common OSSP and quality system across all BUs in the organization regardless of the organizational structure.)
Type of Work: There are two types of works/projects such as “Exploratory Development” and “Full scale Development”. The organization uses different types of processes based on the phase. (e.g. initial development and full scale development for mass production) |

Exploratory Development (Type of Work): This subgroup comprises all Exploratory Development Phase projects under the initial development phase.
Full scale Development (Type of Work): Projects that have completed their initial prototype development activities then pass into the next phase named Full scale Development Phase for mass production. This subgroup comprises all the function enhancement and upgrading works. |
