Sampling Factors: Location (Not Relevant: Organization unit is operational from one location at Qingdao Shandong China only and hence not considered to be relevant for sampling.) Customer (Not Relevant: All Software development projects processes used are the same for all the customers.)
Size (Not Relevant: No differences in project size, because projects use the same processes whatever the size of the application.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: All projects are within Research and development Department, working according to same process. These Projects share same support functions, and hence not considered to be relevant for sampling.)
Type of Work: Because activities performed differ in the case of Customization development and Product development. Feasibility analysis for Product development is needed; work related to pre-sales are needed for Customization development .The processes of RD, REQM and VAL might be differed.
