Location (Not Relevant: The projects within Product and Service Area can be executed in Belo Horizonte or in other Brazilian towns (mainly Brasilia). They share the same process, methodology and tools.)
Customer (Not Relevant: The Spread processes have been structured to be independent for the customer; an unique “protocol” exists to manage any type of customer.)
Size (Not Relevant: There are not significant changes in Spread processes related to size of projects; no effects in the activities are performed based on size.)
Organizational Structure (Not Relevant: Even though the organizational structure shows different boxes for Products or Service areas, the projects executed within these areas share same processes, methodology and tools. They are separated just for administrative reasons and in order to preserve enough resources to product maintenance and evolution.)
Type of Work: There are three type of projects currently being executed with the OU with that present some differences in process and methodology: • Maintenance, for maintaining and evolve a set of existing commercial products and external customers applications • Development, for new developments or evolutions of existing products/customer applications • Migration, projects delivered to external customers to migrate business applications to other technological platforms |
